Sounds like the d-bags are multipling , or could it just be the one nugget that just wont flush down??? Seems to me that one person is behind the douch-baggery as of late……

Rumor has it some asshat has been calling the Sun Prairie City Offices demanding to see permits for the Road Apples show tomorrow. You only need a permit if your selling alcoholic concessions, which they are not. The Fire Dept donated the cost of the park, and all concessions vendors are not financially affiliated to the show. They supply and sell the product, not the car club.

Obviously a piss poor attempt by someone to sabotage a show that has been so well planned out and organized thru a lot of hoops, sweat, and hard work.

If I get my hands on the culprit, well, lets just say my language won’t be that of Queens’ English nor will my physical actions…

Oh everyone knows who it is, the guy with no nads that seems to sabotage every car related event he is part of. His day will come, and no one will mourn….

I have to say, the RA show today was one of the (if not the) best shows I’ve ever been too!! I too know who the pimple is that needs to be popped, and I’ve got some words for him the next time I see him

Who is it? PM me if you must, I’d rather not learn the hard way.

I did the Tasting Room event today. Kind of a disappointment from a car person standpoint. There was no parking reserved and the event was about cigars and only cigars. I did see a few people stop in with nice cars. The ’59 Austin-Healy bug-eyed Sprite was so damn cool.

From a cigar lover point of view, it was absolutely amazing. I have been to a few cigars events and they are usually the same old boring “our cigars are made this way” and “our cigars are better than the others because…” this was not. Yes it was about a particular brand of cigar, but it was more of an offering of their particular cigar. It was nice to meet THE person that came up with this certain cigar and watch him roll cigars. He is truly an artist.

I do applaud the owner of The Tasting Room and the people from NUB Cigars for trying something different. It is nice to see someone outside of the car hobby actually try.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! It is somewhat of a challenge to combine those two hobbies so the response they received IMO is a good success. :)
