A special note about the QSL Cruise Night this Thursday – its one you can’t miss! Blue Chip Street Rods is featured this week and they are bringing several of the cars they have worked on. In addition, they will be giving out many cash and other prizes. Come check it out!
Weather permitting, we’re headed to DeForest on Saturday. I always look forward to this relaxing event.
This past weekend I was too busy to make it to any shows, but I did manage to burn-up a tank of gas just drivin around with the kids (just the sight of another root-beer float I think I would barf icon_vomit1.gif ). Anyhow burn’n a tank of gas running around with the kids is still alot cheaper than it is to play 1 round of golf, so it’s all good. Friday June 1st I plan to go to Richond IL. for their first cruise night of the year. Richmond is about 10miles south of Lake Geneva WI. on hwy. 12. If you like antique shops and homemade chocolate this is an awsome cruise night destination. Richmond is around a 1hr 15min drive from Madison.
Good to hear from you 70 Super Bee! That sounds like a fun cruise night! Do they have it on a weekly basis after June 1st? Can you come to DeForest this Saturday? Now that we’re getting in June the car show season is getting into full swing icon_punk.gif
Yes, every Friday from 6/1 – Labor Day weekend. Every Friday they have a DJ and sell dogs, brats, beer, soda also the local shops stay open late, Anderson Candy is a great place to get an ice cream and home made candy bars ect… most of the antique shops are open as well.
Saturday I’ve got a car club meeting, in Fox Lake IL. We’re planning our annual Mopars at the Park show for 6/24. I do plan on heading your direction for a number of events this year, most of my (car nut) family lives in the Sauk, Portage, Mauston triangle so madison area events work well for us to meet-up.
I’m thinking about going to the road apples cruise in tonight. After that I’m thinking about going a show that I submitted last night that is outside of Whitewater on the 23rd of June (I received the flyer in my car at automotion and the flyer’s details were pretty cryptic).
Here is additional info on Sunday’s Show in Hartford:

Did you post that on the calendar here? I looked today at work and didn’t see that show on the 23rd.
