    This is for the people that still need a maintenance schedule (or are looking to get a better one)

    Break-In Period (After 300-500mi.)
    Change Oil & Filter
    Change Auto Transmission and clean screen (or replace filter)
    Have Wheels Balanced & Alighned
    Be Sure Dealer Corrects any malfunctions on new car

    Every (or Every Other) Time You Stop For Gas:
    Check Oil & Battery Water
    Inspect Tires & Visually check inflation
    Glance under car for leaks or dragging exhaust pipe
    Run A/c During Off-sEASON for a frew minutes to keep the system operable.
    Check Fluid Levels In Radiator
    Check Tire PSI w/ gague (If sitting for a little bit, don’t test once just off-road)
    Check Operation Of All Lights
    Look Under Hood For Leaks, Frayed Drive Belts, or loose wires
    Test for break leaks by applying pressure to brake pedal
    Check Steering Play

    Every 3 Months. (Summer)
    Change Oil & Filter
    Check Air Filter & Clean (If Necessary)
    Check Fluid Level in Master Cylender, auto transmission, and power steering
    Pull a wheel to check brake linings or disc brake pads, and wheel baring grease
    Clean & Degrease Engine
    Fill Windshield Washer Fluid Resivoir
    Inspect A/C System and have recharged if Necessary

    Every 3 Months (Fall)
    Change Oil
    Check Fluid Level in Master Cylender, auto transmission, and power steering
    Fill Windshield Washer Fluid Resivoir
    Check Battery Cells For Charge and clean battery & terminal connectors
    Lubricate Body Parts
    Lubricate Heat Riser Valve & Auto Choke
    Check Antifreeze and add if Necessary
    Check Grease in Differntial, Maual Gearbox, and steering
    Clean Carburator & linkage
    Inspect Underside of Car for leakes and inspect exhaust system
    Clan PCV valve and associated hoses
    Clean oil filler cap
    Check Shocks
    Perform Other Lubriactions as reccomended in owner’s manual
    Clean and regap spark plugs
    Check Point Gap And File Points If Necessary
    Check Distributor Parts and Tming

    Every 3 Months (Winter)
    Change Oil & Filter
    Replace Air Filter
    Check Fluid Level in Master Cylender, auto transmission, and power steering
    Check Clutch Pedal Play
    Check Ball Joint Play
    Adjust Headlights
    Fill Windshield Washer Fluid Resivoir

    Every 3 Month (Spring)
    Change Oil
    Check Fluid Level in Master Cylender, auto transmission, and power steering
    Touch Up Paint & Clean Chrome
    Check Windshield Washer Baldes (Replace If Necessary(
    Replace Points & Spark Plugs
    Replace Distributor Cap, Rotor, and condensor; lubricate distributor
    Check Point Gap & Timing
    Lubricate Heat Riser Valve & Auto Choke
    Lubricate Speedometer & Tachmoeter Cable
    Check PCV Valve & Hoses
    Clean Oil Filler Cap
    Perform any other lubrications as reccomended in owner’s manual
    Check hoses, drive belts, and wiring for visible wear
    Check Shock Absorbers
    Replace Filter in Evaporative Emission System And Inspect Hoses (Most Of Our Classic Cars Don’t Have These)

    Every 2nd Yr.
    Repack fonrt wheel bearing with grease
    Replace line-in fuel filter
    Change Auto Transmission and clean screen (or replace filter)
    Replace Vacuum modulator valve if shifting is rough
    Replace filter on air injection systems
    Add can of rust inhibitor and water pump lubricant to cooling system
    Have wheel balance and alignment and front-end wear checked after purchasing new tires

    Every 3rd Yr.
    Replace Radiator and heater hoses
    Drain Cooling System and Flush; put in new coolant
    Replace Radiator Thermostat
    Replace Woem or Frayed Drive Belts
    Replace Spark Plug Wores And Coil Wires.
