Car Show Mazomanie, Downtown

Not real clear on the details, I just learned of this at the 4th of July celebration but for Mazomanie’s “Fun Dayz” or the downtown art districs night out they announced a Car and Bike show from 2pm until 6pm.

Awards given to “Peoples choice” for top three Cars and Bikes.

I am “ass-u-ming” they are having the car show downtown and are going to block off a city street to do so. There are three bars downtown, a few coffee shops, then a whole bunch of art galleries. They are also having kids games and all the shops will have displays.

Plenty of places to grab grub, and other things besides the Car show.

Once I learn where the exact location is, I’ll post it. I’ll talk with the Chamber president on Monday and learn more. I’m just happy they finally realized a old car can be a work of art also icon_applause.gif

Once I learn more details I’ll post them. This has some potential. If they choose to shut down the downtown streets. Should be enough places for people to wander too besides the cars.

Details.

The cars will be parked on Brodhead street in dowtown Mazomanie. Entrance to the parking will be open on South Brodhead, basically if you come off Hwy 14 at the Mobil station and head north, as you come down the hill the entrance will be there. Another entrance is from east Hudson and Brodhead. So if you come off Hwy 78 or Hwy Y and head into Hudson you can enter.

There is a lot of shade in the afternoon where the cars will be. They plan for 60-80 cars and will also park them down the middle if space becomes a issue.

There are three bars, a coffee shop and a cafe within a walking distance and there will be live music later at night.
