Sounds like a good idea, I will try and make it down there on a Sunday.

Our first meet was last week Sunday and had about 8 cars, including a Lamborghini Gallardo Nera, Lotus Exige S, 04 Porsche GT3, ’71 911 (track prepared), early 80’s 911, early 90’s 911, and a ’02 Boxster S. One group came in from Lake Mills. We expected a Ferrari 360 but the owner overslept. Other cars that could show (depending on which cars people drive and who attends) include a Ferrari F355, Porsche Cayman (S and base), modified Evolution (about 500 HP at the wheels), Vipers, Bentley, 91 BMW E30, and some Vettes also a Ford GT.

This is a pretty informal meet. In the past we tried to schedule specific dates and then it’d rain or if something would come up you might be out of luck for 3 months. We decided to schedule a weekly time and place and whoever can make it, does. We may get 5 cars one week and 25 the next–that’ll be part of the fun, seeing what and who shows up. Our hope is to grow this to where 50 cars wouldn’t be unusual.

We’d love to have fellow car enthusiasts join us to show their cars and talk smart (and drink some coffee).

I’m sure I’ll make it some time. It is about 0.8 miles away from me… Chalk up a 58′ beetle for coffee….

I tried to link to some photos of cars that attended last week’s show and pictures of a classic Porsche and Ferrari that should be attending this week.

I added the photos to the General Car Show photo gallery (Listed with Cars & Coffee in the title).

Looks like good pics! The reason you couldn’t post the link is because we have a spam protector on the site that only lets you post links after 10 posts and 7 days. I’ll post them for you in the topic:

I went to this today. 2 Ferrari’s (one newer and one 1951), 5 porches (a mix of years), 1 newer Lambo, a Lotus, an Evo, a Jag, a couple of BMW’s, and a charger. I rolled in at about 8AM and everyone rolled around 9AM. Nice to see some rare exotic cars.

    Amigo2k,

Thanks for coming out; it was great to see your classic bug.

I’d post a link to some photos (or post the photos) from the cars that attended but I’m running into the spam block “feature”.

    Let’s try this:

    website name: madisonstreetcars
    its a dotcom
add the following to the end of the web address:
    /viewtopic.php?t=413

We’ll be there again tomorrow at 7 am. We expect another classic Ferrari to be there in addition to the 1951 that has been there.

Excellent. This weekend is pretty busy for me because of Blanchardville but I will try in the next couple weekends to get out there!
