The show will be on Saturday June 4 this year. It’s a great show, let’s hope weather cooperates.

I for one will not attend. Way to many people who do not respect cars at this show for my taste. I will say they get many of the unusual cars you wont find anywhere else at this show but it seems to be the same ones back each year. I would recommend to go only if you plan to stay by your cars side the entire time.

I have talked with a number of people who have participated in the show and none have had any issues.

This is one show I would only attend as a spectator. I understand your concerns completely, and am in agreement 100%. There needs to be more security for the cars being shown. The business association should also implement a no skate boards/bicycles/scooters/rollerblades rule during the show.

I don’t like how they select what cars will be given the oppurtunity to be shown at this event, but there’s nothing I can do about it either. I’m not a fan of driving around downtown madison in the first place, so to do it with my collector vehicle makes me twice as nervous.

Madison is pretty much an anti-car city, unfortunately. At least shows such as this one introduce car shows to people who may not of otherwise ever been to one.

The cars normally seen in this show are typically not from around this area, which makes no sense to me… You have to be “chosen” to be in this event, so tell me how someone from Green Bay or the like wants to drive to Madison in weather that can be uncooperative?

The date they have chosen this year has not been good the last few years for events, and there are other events that day. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

I have talked with others that share security concerns about the event, and agree it’s best to stay with your car that day.

Let’s hope the weather starts to change for the better soon, and stays that way!
