    Must be nice to get a contract for $825,000 a year with a chance for a $1,000,000 bonus after your company goes bankrupt. What a joke.

    but if they don’t pay out that much they will not attract quality CEO’s and upper management … or that is what they will say ….

    I would be happy with 10% of what he gets, and could probably help turn the company around!

    What is really sad, is that they instituted a pay freeze and a hiring freeze in order to come up with that kind of cash. I totally do not agree with the theory that big paychecks = top talent.
