Thank You. The club is doing great. We have encountered a few bumps in the road, but all is well. You are correct, a club is made up of all its members and every member is entitled to a vote in determining the direction the club goes, not just the few that attend meetings nor one person. Thank goodness for the internet it allows all club members to express thier opinion and cast a vote and sometimes the club vote does not follow votes made at meetings.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful summer. If it ever arrives. I hope this isn’t global warming.

I was under the impression that the WSC had moved there cruise nights to Arby’s out on County N about the middle of last summer due to conflicts with new management at Wendy’s in SP. Am I mistaken? I remember those nights at Wendy’s it was very hard to get a parking spot if you weren’t there by 6pm. However, with that Arby’s being located in a strip mall I could see problems with parking there also…

There wasn’t a conflict with Wendy’s we wanted to try something different at a new location and new night. Actually there is ample parking. Arby’s is in an area of its own. Parking lot can accomendate 55 cars without crowding. We had maybe 35-40 cars at one time but generally less so parking was not a problem. We have also made arrangements for overflow parking if we ever were to need it. It also has a large adjacent green area which is great for setting up a canopy and for the kids to play safely. Arby’s was very generous with door prizes and discounts. We are looking forward to this year. We had cruisers from Lake Mills, Jefferson and Cottage Grove which had not been to a WSC Cruiser Night before attend. You are correct, parking was a problem at one time at Wendy’s but over the past few years attendance has stablized to around 40 cars or less. This has eliminated the parking problem at Wendy’s.

It is nice there are a variety of venues in the area for cruise-ins.
