My 2 cents, I’ve been to a lot of shows and judged plenty of them. As a judge you need to be non-biased. You cannot have several people jumping all over classes. It just is not fair for the participants. The judge has to stick with the class he/she is judging. As for classes the Road Apples have put a lot of thought into there classes to make the show as fair as possible. This year they have added a trailered class also, because it is just not fair for the people who drive their cars to the show. Also I have yet to see a perfect score in judging a car show.

I want to thank everyone for the VERY constructive comments. We always do our best to consider all options. We will be looking at a few changes for next years show and we want to get better every year. When a group of people get together and offer suggestions, it is a lot better than just shooting an idea down, so thank you again.
Just a note, we did have a SHOW only price of $5. It seems there was a lack of communication and we will make sure we do a better job of posting that for next year. We do appologize for the error on our part.

The comments you are receiving are very good, and that’s what makes shows better for everyone. We all have our favorite shows, and those we’ll never attend again – it’s great to have so many choices.

I’ll also agree with not seeing a perfect score, let alone multiple perfect scores at one show, that doesn’t seem possible.

It’s important to have meetings and discuss all this beforehand, makes life much easier! Best of luck to you!

The old dude seemed interested in my Reliant, my buddies sunfire was next to me…the old guy (judge) insulted the sunfire.. This new car off the showroom floor is getting out of hand.. Where is the skill in that? its brand new!! I think it should go through 31 years before it can enter, then we will see how nice they are.. And on top of all of that, the announcer said the wrong year of my car..its a 1981 1/2 not a 1982….Gawd…..

however though I did manage to see my judging sheet…. 80-90 Percent..not bad..
