I wonder if you can get a Hemi with this one?

Great way to ruin the reputation of another classic muscle car, just like they did with the Charger being a 4-door.

I agree, the Charger in the current 4-door version just doesn’t do the car justice.

Thank God they got it right with the Challenger, the Heritage Edition cars are the best looking cars on the market. Along with the new Mustangs.

why didn’t they just use neon again…. another tid bit, they called the mexican K-cars darts and volare’s, the high performance version was the dodge Magnum, equipped with a 174 Hp 2.2 liter turbo, recardo bucket seats, 5 speed manual getrag transmission. It sucks that I can not get my hands on one…why did mexican’s get all the fun…

You do realize that most of the Darts produced were four door slant six or two barrel 318 powered cars?

most of them were, my dad bought and sold many of them back in the 70’s and 80’s they sold better with the leaning tower of power and automatic trans, he had one 318 car and it did not sell as well.

I like the new dart personally, its a big step up from the crap from 2005, I’m glad they offer a six speed manual for ultimate driving pleasure, more over than the stupid tip tronic crap.

    No, I didn’t know that.

I use the screen name ‘Moparkid25’ only because I think it sounds cool

No, it’s actually an Alfa Romero, and lots of Hemi fans don’t even know what that is.

Why they called it a DART is the real puzzle.

They called it the dart because they were having trouble finding a name for the car, originally it was to be called the hornet, then something else.. it talks all about it on allpar.com
