I just want to thank everybody for their opinins on the show. I am on the
edgerton car show committee and new to this web site. We are going to be
doing some changes next year. Thats why we did the survey. So we know
what we need to do to make this show even better. I do plan on showing
your comments to the rest of the group when we meet again. I know we
do plan on spliting up the mustangs.
We will look at all suggestions to make this a better show. Feel free to e-mail me with any opinions and I will forward it to the group.
Thanks again for your ratings and opinions wave.gif -

August 11, 2007 at 2:22 am #30411AnonymousInactiveThank You for the welcome. I hope to see you there next year.
You know we do have 3 other car shows in Edgerton. The next one
will be on Sept 8th at the Decoy bar and grill. It’s a nice small
car show. Chilli Mania will be going on down town.August 11, 2007 at 5:06 am #30412GaribaldiKeymasterWelcome msmonte! Thank you for your compliments on the site and taking time to read over the topics. We do the Rate The Show both to let car show attendees to share their opinions but also to provide feedback to show organizers like yourself so you can see exactly what the participants liked and disliked. Please let me know if we can do anything else to help with your show or any other show on the site! thumbsup.gif

that they have taken the time to vist it. I go to a lot of shows and i hope to
meet some of the others from the web site.August 14, 2007 at 3:32 am #30414circletrackParticipantI’d also like to add we love coming to your show year after year also. The downtown atmosphere just can’t be beat and closing more of the streets this year really helped! I would like to see different entertainment, and you are fully aware of a class or two that needs to be broken up a bit, but every show has issues!
My only other suggestion is if at all possible, keep your show an opposite weekend of the Fox Lake show. That show easily draws 500-600 cars and it’s very hard to choose when they are on the same weekend (as happened last year).
Keep up the great work!

August 14, 2007 at 11:48 pm #30416AnonymousInactiveI am sorry but there is no way that we can change the date of the car show. It will always be the 3rd weekend of July. It goes with the community celebrating its heritage that weekend.
I know that it’s hard to pick which one you want to go to. I have the same
problem at times. I had to choose between Blanchardville and Evansville
this year. I ended up going to Evansville. Its a new car show that can use the support right now. Blanchardville is already a well established show. I
like to support some of the smaller ones.Where do I go to find out what shows you guys will be at?
Can any one help me figure out the album page and how to change the
resolution? I don’t know if its me or the computer. All I know is that it’s
not working for me. I would like to post a picture of my cars but thats not
working either. icon_scratch.gifAugust 15, 2007 at 12:22 am #30417AnonymousInactivemsmonte,
For starters, have you thought about uploading pictures of your cars to a post/any post,or reply to a post. I would love to see photos of your cars, so I would know who to look for at the shows. I seem to remember car owners by recognizing the car first.
We don’t always go to the same show. For example, last weekend we were split between the Tracek Auto show in Portage and the Coffee Break show in Stoughton, but usually, we will all attend the bigger shows like Automotion, Blanchardville, Fox Lake, Beaver Dam, Pardeeville, etc.
August 15, 2007 at 12:25 am #30418AnonymousInactiveAlso,
I wanted to ask, how was the Evansville show? I was seriously thinking about going to that show, but could not. Some of us go out of our way to take photos and send them to the Forum Admin (Garibaldi and/or GTOMan), who post them so that we can see what was going on at the shows that we could not attend.

August 15, 2007 at 12:28 am #30419AnonymousInactiveIn closing, this weekend will be a big question mark for me.
There is a show Saturday in Cambridge, as well as a show in Montello. I have never been to either show, but there is also the Good Guy show going on here in Madison, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am thinking about going to Good Guys on Friday as a spectator and taking my car to Cambridge on Saturday, and no plans for Sunday.

August 15, 2007 at 1:50 am #30420AnonymousInactiveIs that heathers car show at lake ripley? Man, I did not think it was till
Labor Day weekend. If it is Heathers car show, It is a nice show. I have
been there the last 2 years.
I just called my friend who goes every year and Heathers is on Labor Day
weekend. I think this my be a new one for Cambridge that I have not been
to yet.
The Evansville show is a nice small show at the park. There is a beer tent
food and DJ. It’s a spectator judged show. There seemed to be few more
cars there this year then last.
I think this is a nice little show with a lot of room for expansion. This is a
good place spend the day with your friends and meet new ones.
There is a picture of my car at edgerton this year, and my boyfrinds that
I also take care of. I have a black 74 Monte with t-tops that I have been
showing for 20 years now. My boyfriend has a 32 Ford 5 window coupe
American Graffitte replica. I will see if i can get a picture with this post. It
did not work. I will try again laterAugust 15, 2007 at 3:28 am #30421circletrackParticipantDid you all see the weather forecast for Saturday? Last I looked it was rain and 61! Can you imagine? What a shame it would be after all the heat and no rain to have an entire weekend washed out? I have my fingers crossed it doesn’t happen.
As for the Edgerton show, a couple years ago the dates were changed (I’m almost positive) as when I called to find out why the show was moved back a week I was told Heritage Days (Tobacco Days for those that grew up years ago) was too close to July 4 so they moved it back a week. I agree in keeping the dates the same each year, it makes life much easier!
We don’t all attend the same shows, it’s nice to go to the smaller ones that don’t have 500-600 cars and it usually gives one a chance to see cars we don’t see on a regular basis.

Alternatively, you can just upload into one of the general folders. Now, click the Upload a File link and select the photos you want. You should then be able to upload them. If their dimensions are too large, I recommend using Visualizer Photo Resize which is a free program to easily resize them. Try 1280×1024. Once then are uploaded, load the page for the picture and you will see a box below the image which contains the code to place it on the forum. Simply copy it and paste it in a post. Let me know if you have any questions!
August 15, 2007 at 11:28 pm #30423AnonymousInactiveI have not really looked at the weather for sat but I should. I have a
wedding to go to.
I am not from Edgerton, but my boyfriend was born and raised there.
I thought I heard him say it was always the 3rd weekend of July. They
may have changed it a few years ago. Someone from the committe said we should have a rain date, but we decided not want to move it away from the festival. Thats the reason I said it will always be that date.August 16, 2007 at 2:09 am #30424AnonymousInactiveQuote:I have not really looked at the weather for sat but I should. I have a

to the piont of putting it in the album and it comes up download error. I
have worked on this for 6hrs over the last 3 days. I have tried to change
the resolution. when I go to properties, I only get the general tab. I am
unable to change anything. BangHead.gif
If anybody has any other ideas please let me know (besides getting a new
computer) -
