When super-rich car collectors want to have their classic Ferraris restored, one of their first calls is to Wayne Obry in Neenah, Wis. Billionaires are lining up to visit this rural town. Obry said his garage, Motion Products, has an 18-month waiting list, and no amount of money can get your car to the front of the line.

“Just because you have a couple of bucks, you can influence what we’re doing? You can change the commitments I’ve made to my other billionaire customers? Doesn’t happen,” Obry said.

His work is so good that clients don’t mind the wait. A 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM that Obry restored recently sold at auction for nearly $13 million.

Motion also has a building on Main St. in Neenah. Some years ago they bought out Blanchards Speed Shop formerly in
Medina, WI. and moved it to Neenah. It takes up part of the building and the other half is where the lower dollar resto’s
happen. The machine shop Is still called Blanchards. They updated all the machinery to state of the art. I started using
Blanchards in 1972, and still do for all my engine builds (they machine, I assemble). There prices are competitive, and
just like when Lynn Blanchard owned it, the shop is always spotless clean.

If your looking for top notch equipment at a machine shop with people that know what they are doing, give them a call at
920 725-1266. They can handle any foreign or domestic need from a CNC’d one of billet aluminum hub for that high dollar
Ferrari to a bore and plateau hone job on your small block Chevy. They also sent my hood hinges and latch to Chicago,
to be replated just like the General used when he put my 55 together.
