I think the 500 lost its niche since they changed the name back to Taurus.

What’s wrong with Taurus? It was a great car and the sales they had proved it that’s likely why they renamed it back. Although I liked the Five Hundred too. Very large and roomy, very smooth and nice ride for a sedan (it’s not meant to be luxury that I knew)
