Has anyone put an alarm in their garage in case some loser tries to break in. Any recommendations?

If the garage has an entry door install a screen door also.
Then hook up the “normally closed” alarm contacts to the screen door.

The first place a thief will try to enter is through the door. They have to
open the screen door first and will set off the alarm.

Using the NC contacts will also set off the alarm in case the wire is cut.

NC contacts = normally closed while the magnet is in contact.

Not much for security in my garage, the loser would probably trip over my engine blocks and break his ankle before he would get to my car! Drogar-Laugh(LBG).gif

Now that would be just perfect! Keeping things lying around finally pays off! icon_cheesygrin.gif

I wouldn’t mind a light or something to let me know I left the door open (insert Bat in the house story here ……)

I’ve had a flying squirrel in the house, not sure if that’s better or worse than a bat! 😯
