BTW, I read ESPN wants to do a show about Barry Bonds. They would be watching him go for the home run record.

The problem with alot of the athletes today is that they have never had to have a real job. They were born into wealthy families and have been able to concentrate on their sports only. That is not reality. The great majority of people have to work for a living, usually in jobs they can’t stand. Just about anyone who can concentrate all their energies on one sport without having to worry about anything else should be great competing in their sport.

Most of these althletes earn more in an hour than we make in a month, or six months for that matter… Many of them earn millions playing GAMES and have no idea what it’s like to work a 8-5 job and actually have to earn a living, support a family and much more. I know injuries and the like happen and their careers could be ruined in an instant but STILL!

I love seeing Kurt Bush on that list ~ he’s got a huge head on him. Granted, he’s better this year and realizes he does make mistakes, but the Bush brothers both have silver spoons firmly planted in their mouths…

Then get charged with the same amount of taxes as if they were still making millions…

Atheletes are over paid, but at least the money is going to the workers and not to some twits wearing suits who only punch numbers. Execs and CEOs who earn thousand of dollars per day (while their employees earn minimum wage) should be skinned alive, IMO.
