Metric has its advantages in some cases, like on my car I love the fact that just about every bolt on it has a 10mm head, that makes working on it much easier, unlike my buddies car which is a hodge podge of metric and standard.

Its good when what you’re working on sticks with just one system. All standard would be easier too. Metric is nice as far as the conversions go, powers of 10 is about as easy as you can get
