being slower at posting and thinking about what the heck i’m about
to pop off for is my goal.
    more thought, less rant. icon_cheesygrin.gif

Haha, or quick and full of content, either way icon_punk.gif

Wisconsin is pretty nice, no hurricanes up here! icon_punk.gif

Yeah but Fl does not have snow, and we have beaches, palm trees and no state taxes!!

do you really think Florida is better than Virginia?
i don’t know much about VA, other than driving through it a few times.
i had it on my list of places to move to, though.
i don’t want to go too far north (i’m originally from PA).

Yes I do, I”ve lived in Fredericksburg and Norfolk. Fredericksburg was not that bad but Norfolk was horrble. You really have to wonder about a city that is home to PETA, the 700 club and tries to outlaw bellydancing.

True, but the snow is kind of a nice seasonal change

well, i hope to avoid living in a city. and the further away i am from PETA and the 700 Club, the better. icon_cheesygrin.gif

how does the weather compare to FL? especially humidity.

Hot humid sumers (might be better a bit inland) and cold snowy winters.

So you get both the worst of the north and south.

Well maybe sometimes but its nice because we get to experience both climates, all the while not getting either extremes all year around

i can live with snow. in moderation, of course. :)
what i hate is spending 9 months of the year yearning for the truly cold that
we might get 2 weeks of.
i mean the overnight low night before last was 79! 😯
    it’s the goddamn humidity.

i can actually deal with the bugs.
the roaches and I have a truce: they stay outside or in the garage, and i don’t
sic the cats on ’em. :)
this area does aerial sprays to kill the ‘skeeters, so they are actually less trouble
    than they were at home.
but i sure do miss the lighting bugs. :(

I hate humidity, it makes being outside miserable!
