Hill and Valley Auto Show, Cross Plains

I just accidentally ended up at this car/tractor/steam show today. I don’t know if any of you guys are into really OLD cars and stuff. But this show was mainly 20’s – 40’s cars and trucks!! Lots of nice restorations, but lots of unmolested “survivors” too.

One had only springs left for the seat, and no top left, chains on the rear tires, and hardly any floor. It obviously didn’t drive there. But it ran.

Lots of really cool old dudes who were fun to talk to too.

Sorry I don’t have photo capabilities. I’m just suggesting that anyone who likes really OLD stuff should make a point to go to this one next year.

I stopped by and walked through, it is a good show with more vintage vehicles than you see elsewhere. A little bit of everything.

Don’t worry, I brought my camera and hopefully will get the pics I took up in a few days. I put a couple of them that I have done so far up on the Rate The Show page. I was really surprised that this show turned out so well despite the hail and bad weather we had the night before. As you mentioned it is an interesting mix of vintage cars – something you don’t see too often.
