So if you had an unlimited budget and could redesign your hometown’s roads and walkways what would you do?
I’d make every road at least 4 inches wider. Those damn SUV’s clog up the roads too much. Then I’d have every intersection include a dedicated right turn lane to ease traffic a little. Plus more intersections would have a four way dedicated left turn lane. Too many times your sitting waiting to turn left and you end up turning on red because there’s too much traffic.

At the North end of town we desperately need a LARGE East-West freeway. The whole county knows it. However, the only way to do this without disrupting homes and businesses would be to stack traffic on a multi-level freeway system. Get busy guys! Also, I’d have one lane designated for my use only. w00t.gif
There is one particular intersection here – Speedway and Regent – that really should have a light. Its not a 90 degree interesection to start, plus there is a lot of traffic on it and there have been a lot of close calls. I think they should consider having a light, it would make everything a lot easier and safer

I’d like a few British style round abouts.

No roundabouts… please no…. That’s just too weird. We’re getting a handful here in southeastern michigan. Too foreign for my tastes

Yeah we have quite a few too, left turns are a pain now
