I hit the road early this morning for Iola and walked 6.2 miles and I didn’t even make it up and down every row of vendors and show cars. Lots of great buys were to be had.

What did you think about the variety of cars for sale? Anything different from previous years or particularly noteworthy?

The cars for sale were pretty much the normal … great cars to start a project, but very few that were already done … here is a good deal …. Panther Pink 1970 Dodge Challenger with a 318 for $23,000

Lots of Wagons and Trucks for sale.

1955 Mercury station wagon? $7,650

This 1936 Chevrolet coupe $16,000

Yesterday was my first time at Iola. I got there a little after 7am. I parked in the showfield. No wating at the gate,just drove right in. I spent the next four hours going down most every isle looking for some wheels for my camper to match my car. After finding none I went back to the car. A person was looking at my car and in the coruse of the conversation he pointed to my wheels and said he had a set he wanted to sell! I could of saved a lot of Walking! At 5 I left the show and drove to his home to pick them up. There was a great diversity of cars and lots of them. I had a great time sawping stories with everyone I met.
