Is anyone planning on attending any of the collector car auctions in Arizona this month? Would you ever buy a car at one of the auctions? Do you think the cars are fairly priced or do you think they are inflated?

Nope but I’ll be watching them on TV though.

Would I buy one? Sure, I bought my VW off of ebay!

The ones on TV are handed picked because they know there will be interest in them.

There is also a couple of tents with folks with cars for sale like you would see at Jefferson.

Are there some deal? Sure, but Barrett Jackson adds a lot of hype to the sale…

Not planning on attending, but watching for sure. We had friends that went last year and if you go down early ~ say Tuesday or Wednesday you can find a good deal. The prices go up as the week moves on. I’m always amazed what some sell for! icon_scratch.gif

I won’t be attending either, but I certainly will be watching as much as I can on TV. In addition to BJ, there is the Russo Steele auction going on, but it is not televised.

I believe that there may be some bargains to be had early on in the week, say Tuesday or Wednesday, but one would need a couple of days time to find these cars and be ready to buy before the “big money” buyers come along later in the week.

I will be watching as well, it should be very interesting! Lets keep a tally on the forum – when we see an interesting car post it and what it went for (and if you can get pics) – in case someone else misses it!
