I have been helping a friend with a ’76 Jeep CJ-5 and have been having some problems with it that I can’t find the problem to. It will do fine for a while and it will run and drive perfect, but after a while it will just stop. The way it cuts off is it will cut off for a few seconds then it will cut back
on for 2 or 3 seconds then it will cut off. It will do this for a little while then just cut off. My gas and temp. gagues no longer work. We’ve put a new coil in along with a new fuel pump, and carb. If you have any tips they will be appreciated.
