This show get an A+, even in spite of the rain going down and the brief rain shower just prior to start of judging.

Without a doubt, this was the best show I have been to this year. Nice drive down 14 to Janesville, easy to find, plenty of parking, efficiently run with lots of help, plenty of very, very nice trophies. What makes this show work well is flexibility. There were a couple of classes that did not have any entries and the show chairman (Brent?) shifted trophies to the larger classes, such as Mustangs and Corvettes and Stock/Original classes. Everyone left this show very pleased. Did I mention the “church ladies” and their homemade, served hot sloppy joe sandwiches? The New Life Church will be doing their 5th Annual Jesus Built My Hot Rod Car Show next year and it will be one that you don’t want to miss. Congrats to John Christianson for his Best In Class Award in the Mustang Class and to Jenny Christianson for her Best In Class Award. Also, Congrats to Dick Lehnherr for his Best In Class award in a very large stock 60 to 69 class.

Sounds like a nice show, congrats to Dick! Bummer it’s the same weekend as Spring Green, as we love that show too! :)

Sounds like a great show. I headed out to the show from Cross Plains where I had breakfast but with the dark skies decided to go to Spring Green. Spring Green was allot of fun but will think about this show next year.
