This small town Chevrolet Dealer stored all new cars at the end of the model year, during the 1950s and 1960s. That leftover inventory will be sold at auction later this year in Pierce, Nebraska. When was the last time you saw a 1955 Chevy with less than 10 miles on the odometer? Unfortunately, much of the inventory was not stored under optimal conditions. This auction is being conducted by VanDerBrink auctioneers. Watching the video, the dealership itself is like walking into a time capsule.

It looks like the history channel is going to have a 3 hour show on this auction this Saturday starting at 7PM … set your DVR’s!

This auction has been heavily advertised for months now, and we heard tonight it’s going to be televised.
I imagine everything will go for very high prices and it’ll be impossible to get near the place (if it isn’t already), who would’ve thought? Should be interesting to see how it all pans out.

the top seller thus far – the 1958 Chevrolet Cameo pickup with 1.3 miles and a dented roof, which sold for $145,000. Next up, a 1958 Cjevrolet Apache truck with 5 miles sold for $85,000. Several think we’ll see parts from the cars for sale soon. It was fun to watch, just a shame those cars were parked like that. We’re wondering how the guy made any money, he didn’t seem to sell much, and had very strong feelings about used cars.
