I bet the alignment shops are loving the condition of the streets.

I saw a blurb on the news about how Madison’s streets weren’t getting plowed. I figure the left over hippies that didn’t become professors at the UW they call a city government didn’t want to harm the earth by letting those plow trucks burn fuel and cause more global warming… dontknow.gif

I was driving down on Francis St. last night and there were large patches of ice on the road. It wasn’t the slipperiness that had me concerned but rather the height of these chunks… it really wasn’t good for the suspension!

I have to go to madison now that this last storm has blown through. I can only imagine what shape the roads are in now….I can’t get around real good lately, even with my sand and snow tires which rarely slow me down. I might have to break down and get back in a 4×4 if we keep getting 8-10″ a week dontknow.gif

Can you believe that it is only December 12th, and we have already received 25 inches of snow here in the Madison area already this month. Is it any wonder my back is hurting this early in the snow season?

This is getting ridiculous. We had enough for 5 years as far as I am concerned. It will take till May to melt the garbage.

I too am sick of the snow. I told my boss today that I’m planning on booking a ticket to visit my folks in FL in January ….

The roads aren’t too bad, my work let everyone out today at 1 p.m. which I thought was a great idea at the time, but it was probably one of the most challenging drives home in quite some time. Earlier in the day or waiting until the snow stopped would’ve been better. Oh well! I’m with the rest of you, enough already! Hopefully we have a few days now before more snow, I imagine the plow drivers will be loving their $$$ paychecks with all the overtime! :)

This is getting flipping old!! My Maxima is sitting in the snow because the Challenger (which isn’t even mine anymore) is taking up the garage waiting to be picked up. The trucking company has to come up from Iowa and this darn snow keeps delaying them. STOP ALREADY!!!

The streets have been nice and slippery. With as much as we pay in taxes you think they could afford to put something on the road. What I am amazed at is how dumb drivers are. Every day there are accidents, if the idiots weren’t in such a big hurry it would be allot easier on everyone.

Since they are so low on salt maybe Mayor Dave will go out and empty his salt shaker on the streets.

I know the body shops have been busy, busy, busy because of this wonderful weather. the shop painting my Maxima have been behind and yet still trying to find time to get my car done.I told them that could put my car on the back burner if necessary. They have had it since January 2 and it should be done with paint this week.

I saw on the news today where the city has spent mucho on overtime plowing the streets. From where I sit they waste too much time going over the same streets. Heck I see Turner ave get plowed probably ten times before they get any connecting streets. It seems like they plow the mains once for every quarter inch of snow and don’t concern them selves with the streets that people actually live on. Maybe plow all of the streets once and then go back and get the others a second time?

I’m surprised I could get home today. All the roads around my house were still not touched by 4:30PM. I helped dig 2 cars out around my house. So where were the plows at all day?
