I attended this show last year, and even given the cool temps and being a first year show, I realized that it had the potential to become one of the best shows of the year. It appears that that will happen this year! Congrats to the crew from MATC!!!

About 400 cars … and as predicted the food line was about 45 minutes long .. lots of cars I have never seen before (I’m sure having Aaron from Fast and Loud brought in some folks). I also noticed they had no porta johns out (I’m not sure how you have a show this big without them). Also, the main exit road turned into a drag strip with folks doing little burn outs as they left. The main area for cars was filled and they can spill over to another lot which will hold another 300 cars for next year …

I’ll echo the food line… what on earth? Dickie’s BBQ was in charge this year, and while it was good – why didn’t they have more than two people serving? Take a lesson from other shows, hire Boy Scouts, or some non profit group that needs to make some extra money and put them in charge. More bathrooms and garbage cans would’ve been nice, you can never have too many of those at shows like this. My only other suggestion… we paid $15 to get in and they gave one award per class? I know the kids make the awards and I’m sure they are lots of work, but with 400 cars (and some very nice ones), spread things around a little, or narrow down your Import classes?

All in all, great show – you couldn’t ask for better weather, and so many cars I’ve never seen before. The celebrities all seemed to be enjoying themselves, taking lots of pics and talking to everyone. Not sure how Madison Police lets them get away with the burnouts leaving the show, but I enjoyed it.

It was a nice show and a perfect day. I second the bathrooms. I think they had portajohns last year? And trash cans…Could have been a few thru-out the lot. Would have been nice to not have to walk to throw away trash.

I won’t complain about the price and trophies. I got a T-shirt and the money does go to help the program.

I think the cars that did get trophies were very deserving. I know I wouldn’t have wanted to judge this show. It seemed every class had 2-3 cars that were equally impressive.

This was a good show, and the weather was perfect. I saw a ton of Mopars I’ve never seen before, my new favorite being the plum crazy purple ’71 340 cuda.

I didn’t take a shirt, got too many damn t shirts as it is. This is a good fundraiser for the auto programs.

Took one look at the food line, decided I would get a sandwich on the way home instead.

Never watched any one of these shows the “celebrities” are on. I took fastwithclass’s pic with that Aaron guy, then found out I didn’t do it right. He came back around and was polite enough to re take the photo. Nice guy from the short Congo I had with him, I guess I’ll have to watch his show now… His assistant was a total douchebag, and he even said it. Lol!

Zac!! Dammit you are a Mopar guy. You know darn well that a Cuda is In Violet, not Plum Crazy.

But seriously, that car was beautiful. My new favorite was a 66 (?) Mustang fastback. Amazing car
