Mega Foods and Barely Legal Customs Car Club are combining to put together a car show series to be held at the 2 Mega Foods locations on Hastings and Clairmont in Eau Claire WI.

Location: Mega Foods on Hastings, East Ridge Center, Eau Claire WI

Date: Saturday July 28th from 3-7ish. The afternoon show was chosen so that the diehard car show people can still go to a normal local car show, and the people that just come out to cruise can come out a little early and hit up this show. Mega stated that this time fits best with the busy time in the store.

Targeted Vehicles: Tuner, Sport Compact, Highly Modified and Race Cars. They do not want to step on the toes of the local cruise in style show that target classic cars. They want it to be the vehicles that kids think are cool and are modified. I personally will have my TVs playing a movie based for kids, Probably “Cars”. We do not want to see “stock” cars unless they are a 90s and newer sports car because the show is based on the newer cars.

Awards: We decided with Mega that the trophies will be about 2ft tall and 4 pedestal. something that is impressive, but not over the top like a HIN/NOPI style show that are around 5ft tall. The Tomahawk WI car show has similar trophies, also the Eagle River snowmobile championships. No one car can win more than one trophy per show.

Best of show BLC Choice: Chosen by the Barely Legal Customs members in attendance.
Best of show Mega Choice: Chosen by the Mega Employees in attendance.
Best of show People’s Choice: Ballots to be attached to the bottom of each cash register receipt. Customers can pick one car of their choice and votes will be counted

Price: Free! Plus there will be discounts for participants for some kind of meal in their Deli.

Future Plans: They are looking at having a show about once a month switching between the 2 locations.
