I’m not a really a fan of the show but I’m recording it for others in my family. I didn’t get the last minute and the credits. I used http://www.titantv.com to set the recording. I haven’t had a problem yet until know.

Should I fall back to the tried and true manual programing??? I’ve got a second harddrive with a 160gb so I could record an extra five minutes and not take a serious hit in disc space.

Anyone else have problems of missing the last minute of a show using a program guide to record?? I really like the feature (the websites free). But I would be willing to go back to the manual recording if that will guarentee full recording.

Yoda, LOST frequently runs 1 hour and 1 minute. The same is true for Desperate Housewives. (D.H. is your favorite show, isn’t it?)

Well here’s what I’ve been doing with my tivo. I want to tape 3 shows on friday night, SG-1, Atlantis, and BSG, all on right after each other. What I’ve noticed is the last couple seconds of one show might get cut off on the tivo and put onto the other show (before it actually starts). What you can do (and your DVR probably has a similar feature) is in recording options set it to record an extra minute past the standard recording time – this will make sure to catch any overlap

Well thanks guys. Maybe I will do manually. If I do the program guide I don’t see how I can extend time to the schedule. But it won’t take much more to do it myself. Thanks.

I think ABC is squeezing in an extra minute of commercials during LOST & D.H.W. because those shows get higher ratings than the programs that follow. That way they get to charge more $$$.
