I was a nice little show!

They had about 80 cars, tops. I suspect that many cars that would have attended this show were at the Good Guys Show all weekend. Only 2 awards per class, but enough classes to make just about everyone happy.
Congrats to Dick Lehnherr for his 1st place win in the Convertible class, and the overall participant’s choice award! Way to go Dick.

Lot’s of food choices to include BBQ chicken hot off the grill by the Rotary Club? The town’s Father Marquette Days parade ended right at the car show.

This was my first time to Montello and it was about 77 miles one way from my home in Fitchburg. But, I enjoyed the show and the shady spots in the park (I didn’t enjoy wiping down the tree sap from the body and glass when I got the car home). This show is well run, judged well, and is one of the better shows I have attended this year.

I’ve been to this show a few times in the past. It is always a nice show.

Yep, I appreciated the trees. But at about 2PM when I realized that my car and the cars around me were coated with a fine mist of “tree sap”, I started wishing that I had picked another spot. I was able to get the “tree sap” off when I got home, but it took a good 45 minutes to wipe down the entire car and glass.
