I too tested your theory at a couple of Good ‘ol Boy shows south of the border, and it does work.

Just make sure you have a story line, one guy asked me what street I lived on :whistle:

All the shows in that area( Wisc Rapids, Nekoosa, Port Edwards)are terrible in the voting area. It’s the same people winning the same trophies in the same classes year after year. I think one of the problems you have here is that there are two or three clubs in that area and they all vote for the club members only, the problem you have with that is there are some real pieces of crap take’n home the gold, and the funny part is they think they deserve it. We only get judged at large shows, we haven’t bothered fill’n out the windshield voting papers at most shows for years now. It makes it a lot more fun to go.

That’s funny you say that because the guy with the ’73 Chevelle that’s like a cow crap brown won (he does cartwheels when he wins, just weird), and I couldn’t figure out why someone would vote for that car when there were much, much nicer cars there. Oh well, live and learn!

That car is a nice car, but IMO is over-restored. The cartwheel thing is also odd.

I have wondered before at a few other shows why that vehicle has not won a Best of Show award.
