    Specific Ratings (A-F):

Arrival/Departure (easy to find, easy to leave?) – A, no problem finding the church, of course I live in the area. Anyone else that hasn’t could easily find it by google maps.
Parking Location – C, parking lot is relativly small but so is the show, if the show grows the lot won’t handle it.
Class Organization -C, Odd classing but it works for such a small show. If it grew they could expand the classes. Disapointed the “best engine” was eliminated and there was a “best stereo” class but no one had them on to hear.
Trophies & Prizes -B, very nice trophies and plagues
Food – B, brats, hot dogs and soda,
    Entertainment -D, none.
Judging – A, everyone there votes, no judges, I liked the fact they let the kids also vote. My boys really liked walking around picking their favorite cars, best interior, best paint job and other stuff.
    Dash Plaque – None,
Variety of Cars – B, mostly locals, I knew half the cars all ready, some nice cars that came threw that I hadn’t seen.
Bathrooms – A, the church was open with bathrooms available
Weather – B, started off nice, rain came in later
Trophy Presentation Timing – A, they moved it up because of weather
Entry Fee – A+, no entry fee
    Overall Rating:B

solid B. No fees, play ground area for the kids, good food, everyone was nice to talk with and everyone answered questions about there vehicles. Almost like a cruise in then a show. Weather started looking bad and they had the sense to speed things up, present trophies and let everyone know which way the rain was coming in from. Solid B since I am also a “homer” and rooting for my friends show :) He puts a lot of effort with just a few people helping.

I attended this show today and won Best Paint…. It was a nice show that has plenty of potential if done right. Yes, everyone was very friendly and most of the cars were local, but that’s fine with me. My son loved the park across the street, the food was reasonably priced and I very much appreciated they had the sense to move up the trophies (and walk around reminding everyone to vote, if they hadn’t), we still had to drive home in the rain though. Oh well, it’s just water! crybaby2.gif

The award categories were a bit odd, they could improve on that from seeing what other shows do, but I appreciate this is a church that realizes cars and families are the perfect combination!

Too bad I missed you. I was busy keeping my kids occupied at the park. I think our kids where trying to see how fast they could spin on the merry go round thing.

You got my vote for best paint :) What is the official color on that Chevelle? Glad to see you won.

Bummer! What car were you driving? We’ll have to meet up next time! :) The color is based on a Cadillac and the Trailblazers had that color. We changed it a bit to our liking, thanks for the vote!

I had the blue 69 Camaro and the flamed 60 Apache in the corner.

See how the summer shakes out, maybe QSL or another show and it was my pleasure to give you the vote. That paint looked gorgeous.
