North American International Auto Show

Detroit’s big event is just a few weeks away (exact date??). Anyway theres a preview show on the local nbc channel tomorrow night. Now that I have a hdtv cap card ( icon_applause.gif icon_applause.gif ) I’ll record it and at least post some high res stills from the show. Maybe I’ll upload some downconverted clips if they have an interesting segment or two.

Damn I’ll have to catch the repeat tomorrow. They had one of those annoying “SNOW ADVISORY” warnings up on the screen the whole time. So I deleted the show and I’ll catch the repeat.

And we only got an inch or two of wet snow! Argghhh…..

Ok theres a repeat tomorrow at noon. Maybe I’ll watch it live and take some stills while its running. If I do then I’ll be able to post them right away. Otherwise it will probably be tomorrow night before I post any stills.

They do look good don’t they??? I took them off my fusion 3 hdtv gold capture card. I’m 99% sure the broadcast was standard def from the local news station. BUT it was carried on their digital channel so it looked PERFECT
