I fear OT no longer has a life of its own, like in the past. It used to be the meeting place for VH and the occasional glance shows that there are only 4 or 5 topics that get posted in on any given day now. In the old days the entire first page would have unread posts after a whole day 😯
It’s precisely what Baldrick wants it to be – a catch-all miscellaneous forum for posts that don’t fit in the tech forums. It is no longer the family it once was, and I suspect it never will be again.
But I’m shedding no tears. It’s time has come and gone. Now we have our separate forums for “off topic” discussions, and we cover areas never covered at OT, like religion, war and politics.
And the “family” feeling is alive and well at our forums, I’m happy to say icon_cheesygrin.gif thumbsup.gif
OT has served its purpose, but most of us have moved on icon_applause.gif

Cap is talking about VH OT, which is on another site. I was referring to Off Topic here though. VH OT is where a good portion of the users here used to post at before they joined here and at Cap’s site.

I haven’t noticed that OT here has been exceptionally slow.

OT here has been exceptionally slow, not many active threads.
