Will the price of gas influence how many shows you drive your classic to this summer? With regular unleaded at $2.75 and premium around $3.00 the cost of filling the tank will get your attention. I purchased racing fuel last week at $5.00 per gallon, they said they had just ordered a tanker and expected the price to rise. I would not be surprised to see $6.00/gallon.

Gas was high last summer and it didn’t stop us from going anywhere, we even drove to TN and back in June and plan on doing it again this year. I don’t like paying the high gas prices, but I won’t let it ruin my summer fun.

How far was your trip total to TN and back?

No, not at all for me.

As a matter of fact, I am planning on attending more shows than I did last year, that are much farther away from Madison. For example, Reedsburg, Platteville, Montello, etc. are shows that I intend to drive to this year.

THe price of gas doesn’t affect me either, I’ll pay what it costs no matter what.

Marshall I think you’ll really enjoy Montello. It is set right near a river and has an abundance of shady spots. I missed not going last year

This is true. Unfortunately, I don’t ever see the price of fuel getting any cheaper. Like other unwanted things in life, I’m just going to have to adapt.

I may have to cut back on the beers to afford gas, but there’s nothing wrong with that!
