hi, im trying to get a newly rebuilt 350 timed. it looks like the mark on the balancer is running straight up and not over by the pointer. when i try to move the dist. to set timing at 0 the engine dies . it runs pretty good there at the mark straight up. i read in the manual that i have to lock out the electronic timing by disconnceting a brown wire. i found a connector under the glove box and it didnt change the marks location either. maybe i can just run it a tooth off if thats the case. any suggestions?
