Recent Weather

I can’t remember a year where the weather turned sour so fast and so early. We have been having these 25 degrees below normal temperatures for 3 weeks or more. There has been little if any weather for just taking a drive.

I’ve noticed that many trees have completely shed their leaves already, and the leaves have not changed color this year.

There is plenty of green on the trees this year but very little green in the wallet.

You are so right. Winter is long enough without this early cool down. Did have the ’48 out yesterday and cruised to all surf music. I must admit , it did make me feel better. I know alot of people have put their cars away,but due to the balmy Sunday forecast I was wondering if there was any interest in a meet and greet lunch kinda thing ? Have car, will travel

Yes, this weather does suck royally. I don’t remember when I turned the furnace on last year, but i know it wasn’t the first week of October :angry: Hopefully we will get a nice Indian Summer in the next two weeks and get that last bit of warm weather before winter.

On a side note, I talked with a friend of mine in Wyoming. Today he had a high of 28 degrees and snow in the forecast. He asked me to tell Al Gore to stick his global warming if he was still prowling around Madison :laugh:

As far as a cruise, the Rallye Bleu Mont is Sunday. This is put on by George Stauffer & Steve Grundahl here in Blue Mounds. I’ll see if DDHemi and get more info and post it!

I saw a black SUV on my ride home tonight that was covered in road salt …. it must of driven down from Northern Wisconsin …..

Yeah, it was supposed to be in the 60s for the weekend. They thru that out tonight, high 40s and low 50s for the weekend but no rain.
