Romney and Guiliani.
November 17, 2007 at 8:18 pm #31141jonmandudeParticipantGuiliani
December 10, 2007 at 10:59 pm #31142GTO ManModeratorI see Huckabee has made a charge. I think Guiliani is too slimy and Romney is just plain dumb. I put Fred Thompson in the same category as Romney. I really don’t believe any of the Republican candidates are electable, they are just too conservative. McCain doesn’t come across very well, he is a one issue candidate.

February 1, 2008 at 10:40 pm #31144GTO ManModeratorMcCain, Romney, Huckabee and Paul. Which one will be the representative. I don’t think it matters because none of them are electable. McCain has a one track mind, Romney flip flops too much, Huckabee is too conservative and Paul is too radical. Do they have to keep referencing Ronald Reagan?

March 5, 2008 at 4:13 am #31146GTO ManModeratorIt’s Johnny McCain in a landslide. I hope he isn’t put in the White House, we don’t need another warmonger.
March 5, 2008 at 4:57 am #31147moparkid25ParticipantMcCain is the republican party’s uncle tom. He tries to work with both parties, which would be ok if the radical left wasn’t out of there minds when it comes to politics. I don’t like his ties with Feingold either. McCain does the right things for the wrong reasons. Someone has to tell that old bastard that your not gonna please everyone in life so quit trying.
I liked Huckabee. A strong christian, former governor, plays bass guitar, had a lot of good ideas.
You refered to McCain as a warmonger…One advantage he has over this dimwit i’m embarrased to call a republican president we have now is that McCain DID see war time. Not only that, he was a Vietnamese POW. He understands how it works. The left want’s us to give up a war, just like 30+ years ago in Vietnam. I agree the war should have been over long ago, but I also believe that we should have caught Bin Laden by now too. All of the hippies are basing there vote on the war. Crap I say. We need to worry about problems in this country- possible recession, gas prices, health care (which Billary’s plan is crap) and finish this mess overseas.
March 5, 2008 at 5:12 am #31148jonmandudeParticipantYou are right in comparing this war to Viet Nam. It is unpopular and we are fighting it with our hands tied by rules the other side doesn’t have to follow. We learned nothing. The only difference is, at least now we treat our veterans with respect.
March 8, 2008 at 3:12 pm #31149GTO ManModeratorI see Johnny McCain helped Airbus get a contract so some more people in this country lose their jobs. Whose side is he on? I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him.
March 8, 2008 at 5:26 pm #31150jonmandudeParticipantHe is republican, what do you expect?
Each party has time when their positions are relevant and necessary. Now is simply not a time for republican thinking.

Now is the time where all the politicians from BOTH sides need to get there heads out of there a$$es and try to work together to save this slipping economy. As I posted in another thread, I’m not real crazy about McCain having the nomination for the RNC.
Helping Airbus get that contract only put money in his campaign account.
March 23, 2008 at 2:46 pm #31152GTO ManModeratorMaybe Johnny McCain will forget he is running for President. Of course he will probably have the pathetic Lieberman by his side to remind him.
March 29, 2008 at 1:54 pm #31153GTO ManModeratorThere were a couple of very funny scenes this past week.
Grandma Reagan helping Grandpa McCain out to the podium. McCain was reflecting about the the first war he remembers, World War I.
The other was when he was giving a speech and the teleprompter started failing. His speech slowed to a crawl.
September 18, 2008 at 1:30 am #31154GTO ManModeratorI certainly hope that McCain will be going back to Arizona soon. He has no understanding of the economy, and at this point I think that may be important. He flip-flops more than a pancake at the local diner.
