Rush Limbaugh says he hopes President Barack Obama fails.
Limbaugh is obese, an addict and a loser. And anyone who listens to him seriously is a moron.

As a Republican/very conservative voter, even I have to ask the question, “How can you fail any worse than GWB?” I will give Bush this-there haven’t been any attacks on our country since 9/11 with him in office. However, every other country in the world is pissed off at us.
Some of Obama’s energy policies scare me. Actually most of the liberals policies scare me, but I have to ask a good question that was asked to me the day after the election – Is anything really going to change? I don’t know. I’m more willing to give Obama a shot now than a few months ago (but now I really don’t have a choice either).
You can ask Rush Limbaugh this question now, and in 4 years. He’ll still find something negative. Heck, he slammed McCain everyday up to the election!
On a personal note, I’m more of a O’Reilly/Hannity/Liddy type of guy:laugh:
January 22, 2009 at 9:20 pm #33461Eclipse_TunerParticipantIm about as liberal as they come, but grounded enough to be realistic.
Regardless of political affiliations, I find it obsurd that anyone would want our own government and leadership to fail. Rush clearly doesnt think things through because if our leadership fails, the public sufers for it.
This is the biggest thing I hate about partisan politics…its all anklebitting and backstabbing for one’s self intrest, with little regard to the greater good…and comments like Rush’s just further that issue.
It should be more of “Yes we dont agree and may not like each other, but lets focus on solving the big issues”. I know it sounds elementary, and it is, but that seems to be one of the biggest things polititions forget.
bah, politics annoy me.

January 23, 2009 at 3:22 am #33474GTO ManModeratorI think any show host, whether conservative or liberal who leans too much that way loses credibility. I would rather watch someone who is unbiased. These days it is hard to find someone like that.
March 4, 2009 at 11:17 pm #33475GTO ManModeratorRush the ‘blimp’. Did someone hook up a bike pump to him and blow him up, he’s huge. Or is he on steroids.
March 5, 2009 at 2:28 am #33869AnonymousInactiveI think it is funny that Rush is getting all the attention.
It’s not like he is saying anything new,

It is a good article, even from the Politico.
I don’t see the big issue with this. Every far left democrat openly talked of wanting Bush to fail all the time and they weren’t called out for it. Tables turned, typical politics as usual and Rush will make even more money off the attention.
I’ll even say it. If Obama’s goals are a socialist style government I want him to fail also.

Agreed
Finally, I’m not alone on the “right” side of politics. I was being very careful on what I said, but you my friend are correct. The liberal left did everything they could to bash Bush. But now when the tables are turned its a hypocrisy. As stated before, I’ll go on record saying Bush was one of (if not) the worst presidents this country has had. However, the ideals and policies of the liberal left are that of socalists, and if allowed to continue will make things much worse than they are.
Lets hope Obama knows what he’s doing.

I normally fall on the “right” side of the fence also. I actually think Bush did fine, but time will tell.
I’m not a overly impressed with the Far Right or the Far Left but if I have to choose, I’ll take the Right just for some of the reasons you mention.
