Saturday in the Park

Hi everyone, the Road Apples have been working very hard again to make our 2010 show even better than last year.

The show will once again be held on Saturday, June 26 at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie. Unfortunately another group decided it would be a good idea to have a show the Saturday before ours, and the staff at Angell Park didn’t realize that’s something you don’t do ~ but it’s all water under the bridge now and as time goes on, I’ve learned that show is geared towards motorcycles, beer and bands all day long, not your typical car show.

We will be judging 25 classes this year, including the addition of a British Sports car class. We’ll have plenty of food and beverages for everyone, the Boy Scout troop will once again be cooking the brats, burgers and hot dogs. Schoep’s Ice Cream is a new vendor this year, and they will be handing out FREE ice cream!

Greg will join us again as our music man, and we have a few other things up our sleeves.

It was a nice show last year, unfortunatly I dont think Ill be able to make it this year (getting back from vacation early that morning). Hope it turns out well.
