Hi there! Thanks for the kind comments and suggestions for next year. I will add that this is our third show and we grew 30% over last year and were a bit unprepared for that increase… We are experiencing some growing pains, and will continue to improve the show as time goes on. The Mustangs were put in the Special Interest class because they were Roush Mustangs, and unfortunately our judges didn’t recognize they should’ve been in an appropriate class. I have learned over time sometimes it’s not worth arguing with people on what class their car should go in.
Thank you to everyone that joined us today, we really had an awesome day! The quality of cars was amazing, and there were several I’ve never seen before. We had cars from all over the state and into Illinois.

Thanks to every member of the Road Apples for crafting another fantastic car show! Your 2011 show raised the bar even higher. I especially appreciate the time, effort and finances that went into building the Chevy Motor giveaway at the end of the show. Judging was spot on, consistent, and done with the utmost respect for each and every vehicle. We, as car owners, could not ask for anything more.
Give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back for hosting the absolute best show of the year.

Thank you! One of the biggest problems to DJing an outdoor event is the placement of speakers for optimum sound carry. Even with the technical glitch I had with a broken connector (I carry extra connectors and a soldering gun for this), I am happy that the sound went where it was supposed to go. Some venues are hard to set up for sound. Looking forward to next year!
