Jon’s post gave me the idea for this topic. What was the most enjoyable car that you’ve driven or have ridden in? In contrast, what was the least safe or most dangerous car you’ve driven or ridden in? What other cars are memorable to you and why?

There’s been a lot. An aquaintance of mine used to have a 409 ci smallblock in a 69 camaro… That was a wicked lil car, got sideways on the HWY 30 bridge one night thought for a split second I was gonna meet my maker. The first time I rode in a Hemi car was spectacular also, it was a ’68 Coronet R/T owned by ddhemi. Another friend of mine has a 68 hemi charger that I rode in last year at the Dells, it was great to put rubber down on WI Dells Parkway in front of a few cops

As far as dangerous, I would have to say my ’74 Cuda – the seatbelts didn’t work. With a 525hp car thats not real big to begin with, some people literally wouldn’t ride with me because they couldn’t buckle up. It was also a fun car to drive, but it was a bitch at times to keep straight.

My most memorable car was my ’68 charger. Not only was it my first muscle mopar, it is my dream car. I was 20 when I bought it, spent my savings on it. Had a lot of good times & bad times in that car, some of which were in the backseat

My most memorable ride was in a 1929 Moon when I was a kid. I was at a car show and the owner gave me a ride home in it.
The most dangerous and scary car would have been the 1966 Rambler wagon I drove from Illinois to Florida in the 70s. The brakes failed somewhere in Georgia and I continued to drive it all the way to St Pete. Timing stop lights and rolling through the stop signs and dealing with hill was not fun. I was 19 and stupid. Adding fluid to the master every few stops.
