Shipping Costs

I ordered new seat covers for a GTO recently. I wanted them as soon as possible so they were ordered two day air. Through one of the large parts vendors the cost was $78, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. I ended up getting them through OPG and the same shipping was $12. Seat covers don’t weigh much and they don’t have to be shipped oversize, I can’t imagine anyone paying $78 to ship them.

Companies figure that if you want two day you need the part NOW or want it very badly and are willing to pay extra. They see it as an opportunity to get some extra out of you.
