Should Wisconsin have the Death Penalty?

I realize this is a touchy subject with some, but after hearing and reading all the horrible, horrible things that happened to Theresa Halbach last week I can’t help but think there should be some sort of severe penalty for people that commit such horrific crimes. I also realize innocent people can/are put to death on occassion, but in situations like this where the crime was admitted ~ do you think it’s time for the death penalty?

I think the death penalty should be used in cases like Avery. It is hard to comprehend how someone could do something like that. I doubt he will survive long in prison. I think he will be a marked man and I hope he gets exterminated. As for his nephew, get rid of him too.

I guess my though is that if someone does something that terrible by killing them with the death penalty you are giving them the easy out. By making them sit in prison for the rest of their lives they will have to face the consequences of their actions every moment of every day.
