It wasn’t bad for a first time show. I was surprised by the mix of vehicle types…there was everything from tuners to donks, trucks, classics and muscle.

I tried posting a review, but it keeps giving an “invalid token” error.

So here it is:

For a first time show, they did a nice job. The assortment of cars was across a wide range…about 80 cars total. Got to see a few people that I haven’t in a while, so that was cool. The DJ played a decent mix of music. The entertainers were not Silk’s A team talent, but it was interesting. $20 for a photo of them clothed next to the car was extreme considering that’s the price of a lap dance there. The raffle and door prizes were nice, including a jack, jack stands, wrench sets.
They had some special awards: Judges choice, Best of show, and Entertainer’s choice. I was fortunate enough to nab the Entertainer’s choice and 1st in class. Overall the judging was pretty much spot on.

We’ll probably go again next year.

For next year, here is what Silk might want to consider:
Have the entertainment dancing in the club…maybe starting at noon.
Silk’s food menu is actually pretty good, why not have that going too instead of the stuff outside.
More/better entertainers.
Perhaps the show could tie into a feature event such as when they have a top act like Lisa Ann show up.

I guess it wasn`t a bad show except for the fact I took 2nd place in the stock truck class ( I`m modified ) and a stock truck took 1st place in the modified class. I tried to get it straightened out with the organizers and they told me the judges choices were pretty much final.Glad to see the usual gang took home most of the awards.
