Spring Green Car Show ~ this Saturday August 18th

The 2012 Spring Green Car Show will be held this Saturday, August 18th, in downtown Spring Green, WI from 8am to 4pm. Registration is from 8 – Noon with a $5 entry fee per vehicle. Event features 30 classes, 95 awarded trophies, Dash Plaques and Goodie Bags to the first 300 entries, Door prizes through out the day (including a 1930’s style Coke refrigerator – $800 value), Cash prize for the best club participation and more.

This year’s featured guest is Spring Green’s very own Ring Brothers. Come meet Jim and Mike Ring and check out their custom cars.

Every year this show gets bigger, and this year we seem to have more clubs competing for the Best Club Participation cash prize. A couple of clubs have already confirmed that they are bringing up to 25 entries.

Even with last year’s morning rain, we still had a record turn out of participants and spectators. So far the weather looks great for Saturday, so come early and spend the day with us in downtown Spring Green!

Can’t wait to see all the cars as they roll into the show this weekend. Sounds like the weather is going to be beautiful for this show. If you haven’t been there this is the show to attend. Well organized, nice door prizes, 50/50 raffle, awards on time, several places to eat, shopping on main street. Can’t wait to see the turn out this year!!

Near perfect weather is being predicted for tomorrow. I am expecting to see a record number of cars/trucks at the show. As of right now, we have five cars in our group, leaving Madison early.
