I am starting to get really antsy about next year’s car events, so I started looking at what is coming our way, and I discovered that the Spring Jefferson Show is only three months away! Let’s all hope for good weather this year (dry, plenty of sunshine, and maybe some warmer temps than in years past). Just a short three weeks after Spring Jefferson, we will have the Wisconsin Dells Automotion show! Yippee

Yep, it certainly was a cold one. But, all of these cars did sell at no reserve and they were all seized or confiscated. The previous owner of the Denali must of had some time to trash the interior before it was taken away by the US Marshal’s service crybaby2.gif

I was interested in the Audi S3 Quatro Turbo, but two bidders got into a high bid war and drove the price up to over 12K.

It was good to see some folks getting really good buys, though. I was suprised at how many car dealers from out of town were there also. I was standing next to the high bidder on the 84 Grand National, a car dealer from Appleton who will detail the car, bring it up a notch or two, and try and double his money on the purchase.

I read in today’s Milwaukee Journal that the West Bend swap meet is also on the 25. Decisions, decisions. icon_scratch.gif Maybe I’ll try for both. dontknow.gif

Do you know what price the Mustang and Grand Prix’s went for?

The mustang went for 11.5K and the Grand Prix brought 14.5K. The Mustang appeared to have been cobbled together, but the Grand Prix was a nice high quality driver, near show quality restoration. I thought the Buick Grand National was the best of the bunch.

I’m looking out the window and that white stuff is falling out of the sky again and I wonder if Spring can come soon enough!

For nights like tonight, I will have to pull a car show DVD off of the shelf and get by until we have some warmer weather here in Wisconsin.

Spring Jefferson can not get here soon enough for me.

I agree this weather is getting real old. Hopefully there will be a warmup next week to get rid of this garbage.

Jefferson is TOMORROW!!! This is the first time in a few years I’ve actually looked forward to going. House of Horsepower has a great booth directly across from the car corral this year and will be displaying some employee masterpieces along with a Goodmark sheetmetal display, current projects, flyers, and the staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

Oh, did I mention the Racestopper Girls will be there with HOH too? thumbsup.gif
