From what I have heard the Capitol is cleaner than it has ever been.

Just got done talking with a teacher friend of mine. She was at the protests with her union. She was pretty appalled at the garbage the people left behind and how they pretty much toss wrappers for food and stuff anywhere making no attempt at picking up the trash. Plus, she couldn’t take the smells much more from unbathed people. she also said that when the people from the Tea Party side walked by, protesters shouted obscenities at them. She thinks that the people there from out of state don’t really care about the Capitol and others and only are there to relive some sort of 70s fantasy. I can’t believe that people had cooking appliances operating. Talk about a health hazard.

And… once it’s clean the doors should remain locked

I’ve also heard reports of damage and so on… You have to remember this is a historical place, our state capitol, and it wasn’t meant to be lived in!

That doesn’t make sense. Every resident of Wisconsin has a right to be in there. I haven’t heard anything about any damage and I know a number of people who have been up there and in the Capitol every day since the protests began.

So does that mean Karl Armstrong moved his juice stand closer to the Capital?

I never said they didn’t have a right to be there, I said no one should be living there for weeks at a time..

I heard about something that happened the other day. Walker and his cabinet went to lunch. In the first restaurant they went into the patrons started booing and they were asked to leave. In the second one the owners wouldn’t serve them and asked them to leave. As far as I am concerned Walker, his cabinet, the State Assembly Republicans and the Senate Republicans should be shunned.

Word is the crowds in the Capitol got down to a couple hundred and the cops decided the protesters can stay.

Also, 1 Rep Senator “reportedly” have flipped his vote.

It’s not so funny when taxpayers of Wisconsin have to pay to restore all that… :(
