Do you do anything differently in the summer to keep your car running healthy? If so what and why.

Check the tire pressure. Very important because the pressure will
go up in this hot weather.

Check the cooling system!!! icon_eek.gif

Change to a slightly thicker oil (in older cars).

Remember to wash UNDERNEATH the car to remove the
winter crap. Clean the wheelwell lips and rockers. Car washes
can’t get into the nooks and crannies.

I couldn’t agree more, the cooling system is a necessity nowadays with this very hot and very humid weather! icon_eek.gif

Ooops, I forgot an important one………

Change the air filter.

My vehicles are newer so it isn’t too much
of a problem, but on the older cars that I
had oil and dirt would accumulate on the air filter.

……..and at $2.25 a gallon for gas it makes a difference!
