I was able to make it to a couple of hours of the Iron Invasion car show in Woodstock IL. This show is pretty much like Vintage Torquefest, with cars 1964 and older with period correct modifications. There is a section for the “friends of the show” for newer cars too.
Small parts swap area … Mecum had one of their mobile stages set up … stage for a band and buildings with car clubs parked inside.
My best guess is that there were about 400-500 cars … they had cars lined up 10 deep in 5 rows in one lot to get the cars off the road, so there wasn’t a 1/2 mile line to get in.
It is a great show, because it is not a typically car show which are now are just pretty much full of muscle cars.
