Tuesday is Cruise Day – Lodi, WI

Tonight I took a ride up to the Truck stop on 60 just outside of Lodi. My folks live on Lake WI and my Mom has been asking me to bring my car up because her and her girlfriends meet at the truck stop for dinner and to checkout the old cars on Tuesdays.

I attended this show about 6 years ago and there was about 10 cars… So I wasn’t expecting much. As I pulled in I just about fell out of seat to see cars parked 3 deep! About 65 cars in total. At the main door of the truck stop they had folks giving out tickets for door prizes (no clue as to what they were giving away) and there was a lady sing old time country western tunes (and about 30 old timers sitting and watching her sing).

Inside the truck stop there is 3 restaurants (AW, Cousin Subs and Rocky’s)and it was packed with folks!

… and as I was packing up I overheard one of the car owners by my car say to his buddy, “Hey, are you going to the Road Apples Show on Saturday?” and the other guys said, “sure, where is at?” …. “Angel Park” … “Yeah, I’l see you there” …

So there is already a buzz about the Road Apples show …

Looks like a nice cruise-in. Glad to see they are doing well with it, I think they put allot of time and energy into it.

Nice! The lot at Wendy’s was full tonight also, it was a beautiful night to get out.

We are looking forward to Saturday, we have several pre-registered and have heard the buzz.. let’s hope Mother Nature cooperates!
